Sun Prairie police say the 46-year-old woman who was hit and killed while crossing a street Tuesday night wasn’t in a crosswalk at the time.
The Dane County Medical Examiner has identified the victim as Julie Ziegler of Sun Prairie.
Police say they are still investigating the death, but they haven’t arrested or cited anyone and the driver’s name hasn’t been released.
The Dane County Sheriff’s Office Crash Reconstruction Team is helping with the investigation.
