UPDATE April 20, 2020: S.S. Badger Car Ferry will begin taking reservations for sailings on June 12, we will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and make adjustments as necessary.

The S.S. Badger Car Ferry has announced on their website that they are delaying the start of their sailing season from May 8th to May 29th due to the COVID 19 pandemic. A statement says “We all must do our part to help defeat this enemy. Therefore, the start of our sailing season will be delayed until the state and federal authorities lift the ban on travel…We have made the decision to only offer one sailing each day from both Ludington and Manitowoc. ”
The statement adds that they are following all health and sanitation recommendations and will have a vigorous program in place on the ferry and shore when the season begins. Current reservations may be changed with no fee or penalty and canceled reservations will be credited for travel through the end of the 2021 season.
