At this time last year, the Green Bay Packers and their new coach were already prepping for the upcoming season.
New N-F-L coaches this year were supposed to get that early work in starting Monday, but the league has issued a directive that players can have to contact with their team for now.
Packers head coach Matt LaFleur had hoped to expand the playbook and work with his players a little more on April 20th – but that calendar event has been put off indefinitely.
LaFleur says he wanted to start installing the up-tempo section of the Packers offense which was rarely used last season.
