
A multitude of police and SWAT vehicles surrounded a home in Appleton after a resident reported a burglary in progress early last evening.
Reports indicate that the police were dispatched to the home in the 1800 block of West Packard Street at 6:15 PM for a possible burglary in progress.
The caller told police that she came home and noticed some things were out of place, and they heard voices coming from the lower level.
Appleton Police Officers and SWAT Team members were both sent to the home, and they completed a sweep of the residence using a robot.
No suspects were found in the home, but the investigation remains open.
