All Manitowoc County absentee ballots MUST be received in your clerk’s office or at your polling place by 8 p.m. on Election Day. That deadline has not been extended.
The Manitowoc County Clerk Jessica Backus urges voters that have requested an absentee ballot by mail, to mail the voted ballot back in the signed and witnessed absentee certificate envelope as soon as possible to ensure your vote would be received by the clerk by/on election day.
A voter does have the option of hand delivering an absentee ballot they received by mail to the clerk as well. Ballots can be returned to the clerk’s office, an in-person absentee voting site or the voter’s polling place on election day. A family member or another person may also return the ballot on behalf of the voter.
Absentee voters can visit “My Vote” to track their absentee ballot. A voter would click “My Voter Info”, enter his/her name and date of birth, and then scroll down to the bottom to view the absentee tracker.
