La Cross Central High School standout Johnny Davis has been named the A-P Wisconsin Player of the Year.
The six-foot-five star has committed to play for the Wisconsin Badgers.
He averaged more than 27 points and nine rebounds-a-game with the Red Raiders.
His team won a Wisconsin state championship when Davis was a freshman, then qualified for the state tournament the last two years.
The Raiders would have made it to the tournament again this year, but it was called off.
