The commander of the 128th Air Refueling Wing of the Wisconsin National Guard has been relieved from his duties.
A news release indicates Major General Paul Knapp made the decision Thursday to replace Colonel James Lock.
The announcement indicated Knapp had lost confidence in Lock’s ability to command.
The problems cited were command climate, poor judgment and alleged misconduct.
Colonel Shawn Gaffney will act as interim commander of the 128th.
