N-B-A observers are picking Milwaukee forward Giannis Antetokounmpo as a top contender for the league’s Defensive Player of the Year award.
He’s already a favorite for M-V-P and only Michael Jordan and Hakeen Olajuwon won both awards in the same season.
Antetokounmpo is compared to two-time winner Draymond Green – with a little less defensive skill, but a lot more athletic ability.
It helps that Milwaukee had the best team defensive rating in the league when play was stopped.
