A major scholar-athlete honor has been announced for a senior at Manitowoc Lincoln High School.
Davis Heinzen is named as one of the state nominees for the 2019-’20 Scholar-Athlete Team by the Wisconsin Chapter of the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame Inc.
The announcement of the State winner will come in the near future. After graduation in June, Heinzen will be attending Central Michigan University on a Football Scholarship.
He also competed in Basketball for the Ships this season when he was part of a major turnaround for the Lincoln program.
