A 23-year-old Sheboygan man has been taken into police custody after he led Sheriff’s Deputies on a short chase.
The incident began yesterday morning at around 3:30 AM when a Deputy saw a car traveling at around 80 MPH on Highway V, an area with a 45 MPH speed limit.
The officer engaged the vehicle, which turned down a dead-end road, and the driver put the car into the ditch and took off on foot long with his female passenger.
A K-9 unit located the driver, while deputies were able to find the passenger. The man was arrested for Reckless Driving, Operating Without a License, And OWI.
No word on if the female is facing any charges.
