Before the current N-B-A season was interrupted, it looked like a certainty that superstar forward Giannis Antetokounmpo would spend his career in Milwaukee.
He has repeatedly stated his wish to be with the Bucks and establish a winning tradition. It looked like the team was headed for an N-B-A title before the stoppage and that would seemingly have shown the Greek Freak the future he is looking for.
He could still stay in Cream City – and this still the likely resolution – but dozens of N-B-A stars have said the same thing, then bolted for another team.
Antetokounmpo is eligible for a five-year, 247-million-dollar max deal this off-season. It will be significant if he decides to take it.
He’s not a free agent until the summer of 2021.
