Marquette senior guard Markus Howard has been named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches’ All-American first team.
Tuesday’s announcement means Howard is a consensus first-team All-American since he’s also been honored by The Sporting News, Associated Press and U-S Basketball Writers Association.
He joins Dean Meminger, Butch Lee and Dwyane Wade as the Golden Eagles’ only consensus first-team All-Americans after leading the nation’s scorers with 27-point-eight points-a-game this season.
