Amateur athletes in Wisconsin and around the world are disappointed that the 2020 Tokyo Olympic games are off – for now.
International Olympic Committee member Dick Pound told U-S-A Today about the one-year postponement.
Pound says the decision has been made, but the games aren’t called off, just postponed until 2021.
Australia and Canada had already pulled out of the competition due to the coronavirus pandemic.
