Madison police have taken a 37-year-old man into custody after a weekend traffic stop.
Officers say Edward I. Smith jumped out of a car parked partially over a curb Saturday morning and was staggering.
Smith was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving, operating after suspension, probation violation and possession with intent to deliver cocaine.
A search of the car had turned up 52 grams of cocaine and more than $6,400 in cash.
A scale and drug paraphernalia were also found in the car.
