The Wisconsin Badgers’ impressive finish to the shortened basketball season has earned another honor for the head coach.
Greg Gard has been named District-7 Coach of the Year by the National Association of Basketball Coaches.
Gard led the Badgers to a share of the program’s first Big Ten regular-season title since 2015, and Wisconsin won its last eight games to finish 14-and-6 in the conference and 21-and-10 overall.
Gard was already named Big Ten Coach of the Year.
