With the college basketball season now in the rear-view mirror, the awards are starting to pour in for the nation’s leading scorer.
Marquette senior Markus Howard is seeing his name appear on several first and second-team All-American teams.
Howard averaged almost 28 points-a-game, while connected on more than 41 percent of his 3-point shots – all at a time when he was the Golden Eagles main scoring threat. That means he got a lot of special attention from defenders.
He ended his career just eight points short of joining the top 20 N-C-A-A Division 1 career scorers of all time.
