The Milwaukee Brewers are among 30 Major League Baseball Teams contributing one million dollars each to a fund aimed at helping ballpark workers idled by the coronavirus pandemic.
Brewers senior vice president Tyler Barnes says the specifics of the commitment by the teams will be worked out over the coming weeks.
A Monday announcement by M-L-B means the 2020 regular season won’t start before mid-May.
Many of the workers at Miller Park are employees of subcontractors like security and concessions, which may complicate things.
