The Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Department is searching for a woman who failed to arrive at the Manitowoc County Jail when she was supposed to.
According to a Facebook post from the Department, 51-year-old Cheryl Edwards is currently serving a six-month jail sentence after being found guilty of Fraud Against a Financial Institution. She was on what is known as the Electronic Monitoring Program and was required to report to the Manitowoc County Jail on February 26th but did not show up.
Due to this, a warrant was issued for her arrest, and the Sheriff’s Department is asking anyone who knows where Edwards is to contact their office at 920-683-4201.
