Working the free-agent market more aggressively means the Green Bay Packers will receive no compensatory picks in the 2020 N-F-L Draft next month – for the second season in-a-row.
General Manager Brian Gutekunst signed Za’Darius Smith, Preston Smith, Adrian Amos and Billy Turner last March. That guaranteed the Packers would get the extra picks they have received in the past – 42 over the last 25 years.
Only Baltimore, Dallas and New England have received more.
The Packers will have a total of 10 picks in the 2020 draft – unless they make some trades in the next few weeks.
