Verona police report the arrest of a substitute teacher after receiving several reports of what they call “concerning behavior” at Badger Ridge Middle School.
30-year-old Dustin Schallert was taken into custody Saturday on suspicion of a sexual assault.
A 13-year-old girl had told her parents she had been touched inappropriately in a classroom the day before. Several students say Schallert braided the hair of some female students – even after they told him to stop.
He’s being held in the Dane County Jail.
