The White House says a planned Thursday visit by Vice President Mike Pence to Onalaska has been canceled.
Pence and his wife Karen were set to appear at the Stoney Creek Inn, then move on to a second appearance in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Mrs. Pence will visit St. Paul while the vice president travels to Washington state.
Pence is heading the country’s response to the coronavirus threat.
