The Wisconsin Badgers have raided the Packers coach staff to find a wide receivers coach.
Alvis Whitted replaces Ted Gilmore in the position. Whitted worked in Green Bay last season after seven years with Colorado State.
He is given credit with the development of three All-American wide receivers now playing in the N-F-L: Preston Williams of the Dolphins, Rashard Higgins of the Browns and Michael Gallup of the Cowboys.
Whitted has recruiting ties to California and the Carolinas.
