
Manitowoc Lincoln grad Alyssa Fischer helped her Milwaukee women’s basketball team to a win last night in the first-round of the Horizon League Tournament.
Fischer, a redshirt senior from Newtonburg, tallied 4 points 4-for-4 from the free throw line, in a reserve role during the Panthers 73-65 come from behind victory over Oakland University.
Milwaukee trailed by 7 before out scoring the Golden Grizzlies 27-12 in the 4th quarter of their contest at the Klotsche Center.
The Panthers (15-15) now advance to the Horizon League quarterfinals at #4 Northern Kentucky on Thursday night at 6:00.
