Two Green Bay residents have been displaced following a fire at a duplex last night.
Crews from the Green Bay Metro Fire Department were sent to the 400 block of Silver Spring Drive just after 7:00 PM and found the smoke coming from the eves of the structure, and visible fire through the living room windows.
The firefighters jumped into action, containing the blaze to just the one room, however, the smoke damage was prevalent throughout the unit.
The other side of the duplex was not affected by the fire, the cause of which is not yet known. There were no injuries reported from the fire which caused an estimated $100,000 in damage.
The Red Cross and family members are helping the displaced adults.
