The Washington County Sheriff’s Department says a driver from Michigan who tried to help a man who appeared to be stranded on the side of Interstate 41 was carjacked. The Good Samaritan who was victimized was a 57-year-old man from Muskegon, Michigan. When he stopped, the man holding a gas can walked up to the passenger side of the victim’s truck, opened the door, pointed a gun at him and told him to get out. The Washington County Sheriff’s Office is hoping the public can help investigators track down the carjacker.
