Milwaukee police say the fatal, officer-involved shooting of a 49-year-old man Saturday night is currently being investigated.
The man’s name hasn’t been released.
Officers responding to a report at about 11:00 P-M say they encountered a man holding a weapon. During the confrontation, officers opened fire.
The man died at the scene before he could be taken to a hospital for emergency treatment.
The officers who were involved have been placed on administrative leave.
