Emergency responders say a worker at Didion Milling in Cambria suffered serious injuries when he fell 30 feet from a catwalk inside a corn dryer and landed on some metal grates.
The victim’s name hasn’t been released.
The Beaver Dam Fire Department’s Technical Rescue Team put the man into a harness and lowered him another 20-to-30 feet to a sky lift, which was used to lower him to the ground.
U-W Med Flight took the man to the U-W Hospital where he is now being treated.
