The Pirates built their largest lead with 11 minutes left when they went up by 24 points, 74-50, on a 3-pointer. Markus Howard scored 37 points for the Golden Eagles, getting 13-point help from Sacar Anim.
The team has been on the losing side in three of its last four games.
Marquette (18-10, 8-8 Big East) wraps up its Big East Conference schedule with road games at DePaul and St. John’s. The DePaul game will be played Tuesday night.
