
More details are starting to come out about the shooting at the Molson Coors plant in Milwaukee.
Police Chief Alfonso Morales says that the shooter was a 51-year-old man, who turned the gun on himself after the rampage. “He was a current employee of Molson Coors at the time of this incident,” Morales explained. “Reasons for this is still under investigation of what transpired, and we don’t have that for you.”
CEO Gavin Hattersly spoke to members of the media yesterday for the first time since the shooting, and he focused on the victims, saying they ranged in age from 33 to 57. He stated “They were powerhouse operators. They were machinists. They were electricians. But more importantly they were husbands. They were fathers. And they were friends.”
Authorities say 33-year-old Jesus Valle Junior of Milwaukee, 51-year-old Gennady “Gene” Levshetz of Mequon, 33-year-old Trevor Wetselaar of Milwaukee, 57-year-old Dane Walk of Delafield and 50-year-old Dale Hudson of Waukesha all perished in the shooting.
No other victims were injured in Wednesday afternoon’s mass shooting.
