The Manitowoc County Miracles Special Olympics agency celebrated their 2019 sports seasons with their annual awards banquet on Saturday, February 15th.
Awards were given to Dan Neuenfeldt for Male Athlete of the Year, Ana Luenzmann as the Female Athlete of the Year. The Hickman family was honored as the Family of the Year.
Paulette Simonar was honored for 35 years of service to the agency. Kristin Zolltheis, John Andrew, Carol Grunwald and Simonar were given Service awards for their dedication and hard work as Agency Managers.
The following athletes were all awarded plaques for raising more than $1,000 each in 2019 for our agency; Lucas Smith, Mike Pribek, Nicholas Andrew, Lucy and Dan Grunwald, Henry Baer, Mandy Brost, Brandon Lesperance, Lee Pilger and Kerilyn Hickman.
Honored guests at the event were those that were founders of the agency and past Miracles leaders.
