It’s not this simple, but Green Bay Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst does have to find some talent for the wide receiving corps during the off-season.
He has standout veteran Davante Adams, but very little to back him up. Six-foot-five Allen Lazard was impressive last season but may not be the dynamic playmaker the Packers need.
There was a time not that long ago when Green Bay had one of the best groups of receivers in the N-F-L.
37-year-old quarterback Aaron Rodgers simply needs somebody else to throw those laser strikes to – and it needs to happen for the 2020 season.
