Five wins over Quadrant-1 opponents means Marquette will be going to the N-C-A-A Tournament.
But, three losses in a row also means the Golden Eagles will be seeded a lot lower than it appeared two weeks ago. The 84-72 loss against Providence hurt badly.
Before the losses started to mount, it looked like the Eagles could be a three seed. Now, they appear to be headed for a seven-seed and a possible quick exit from the post-season.
The time to right the ship is getting shorter with only four games left on the schedule.
