The Packers say there’s no truth to a rumor repeated on Twitter that the N-F-L Draft will be held in Green Bay in 2022 – but the team also isn’t giving up on the idea.
The big event will be in Las Vegas this year and Cleveland next year. Possibilities for Green Bay are 2022 and 2024, with the draft headed for Kansas City in 2023.
The N-F-L has said 600,000 people attended its draft last year in Nashville and more than 47 million people watched it on television.
Lack of hotel rooms may be the biggest challenge for Green Bay, but the Packers are still determined to bring the event here.
