The Wisconsin Republican Party says its new field office in Milwaukee was vandalized Tuesday night.
Chairman Andrew Hitt says the damage was limited to spray paint on the building’s exterior including the word “scum” on a side door. The state G-O-P said in a tweet, “What kind of intolerance can we expect to see when Democrats bring their convention to Milwaukee this summer?”
The Wisconsin Democratic Party responded in a statement saying, “unlike the Republican Party, we unequivocally condemn actions like this, regardless of who is targeted.”
