Best-selling author James Patterson will be the keynote speaker for spring commencement at the University of Wisconsin.
Patterson will be joined on stage by retired labor union leader and Black Student Strike of 1969 organizer John Felder. Patterson and Felder will speak at graduation for bachelor’s, law and master’s degree recipients at Camp Randall Stadium May 9th.
Patterson’s wife – Susan – is a UW-Madison alumna and the couple has provided financial support to more than 150 students each year through scholarship funds.
