The 19th-ranked Marquette men’s basketball team falls to 7-and-6 in Big East play with Tuesday night’s s 73-65 home loss to number 15 Creighton.
The Golden Eagles trailed 32-22 at halftime and were not able to rally past the 10-and-4 Bluejays. Sacar Anim led M-U with 18 points as Markus Howard was held scoreless in the first half and finished with 13 points.
Ty-Shon Alexander had a game-high 22 points for Creighton.
Marquette plays at Providence on Saturday.
