There was an accident in Green Bay this morning which resulted in a road closure.
The Green Bay Police Department is reporting that the accident happened on Shawano Avenue between Fisk and Locus Streets and the incident caused power lines to be toppled.
The roadway will be closed until around 7:00 AM so crews can address the issue.
Drivers are asked to use Dousman and W. Mason Streets as alternative routes until Wisconsin Public Service can clear the wires.
