Residents of 20 counties in northwest and central Wisconsin are voting in a primary today for an open seat in the 7th Congressional District.
Republican Congressman Sean Duffy stepped down last fall. State Senator Tom Tiffany and Army veteran and Ron Johnson aide Jason Church are competing for the G-O-P nomination.
Wausau School Board president and Ho-Chunk Supreme Court Justice Tricia Zunker and Vietnam veteran/union organizer Lawrence Dale are the Democratic candidates.
The two primary winners will face off in the May 12th special election.
