Markus Howard became the all-time leading scorer in Big East Conference games when he put up 24 in Wednesday night’s narrow 72-71 loss at Villanova. Howard passed Lawrence Moten for the record and he now has 1,408 points.
The 5-11 senior is averaging 27-point-four points-a-game for the Golden Eagles this year.
