The Appleton Fire Department was called to the scene of a house fire on Pine Street yesterday.
The fire was reported just before 11:00 AM, and the blaze was so intense, it took crews about an hour to bring in under control.
The fire was determined to have started in an animal enclosure outside the home, before spreading to the main structure.
No injuries were reported, as everyone was able to escape the home, and all of the animals were removed.
The cause of the blaze is still under investigation, while the damage was referred to as “considerable”.
