Wisconsin’s “Complete Count” committee has a simple, but difficult, job. It wants to make sure everyone in the state is counted for the 2020 Census. Lieutenant Governor Mandela Barnes is chairman of the committee which convened Wednesday. Its task is to ensure an accurate count of every person living in Wisconsin. Governor Tony Evers says everyone in the state deserves the same visibility and voice. The data collected every 10 years has an effect on federal funding decisions and congressional seats.
