Manitowoc Lincoln was looking to avenge a first-round conference loss to Green Bay Southwest when the Ships took-the-court against the Trojans.
Jim Medley called the game last night at the JFK Fieldhouse and termed it a “tough FRCC matchup”.
The Ships were able to come out on top and get back on the winning track with an 88-65 win.
Mason Dopirak lead the ships with 23 points while Justin Steinbecker added 20. Tye Melker had a hot first half, contributing 19 points, but was shut down by the Ships’ Alex Braun, and only added 3 points in the second half.
The Ships are now 10-8, as they prepare to face Sheboygan North on Friday.
