Authorities in Dane County accuse a man who lost his driver’s license 23 years ago of continuing to drive.
When 60-year-old Edward L. Femrite was stopped in Madison Saturday night he was cited for operating after revocation – for the 28th time.
Femrite license was taken away in 1997 after a conviction of operating while intoxicated.
He apparently complied with the order for about 18 years, as all 28 violations have come in the last five years.
