
Two Rivers battled New Holstein in Girls High School Basketball last night.
Brian Norton was there and reports that the Raiders beat the Huskies 48-43.
The evenly matched contest was tied at the half, But Two Rivers’ Allison Kakes gave the Raiders the lead for good with a three-point bucket, and the Raiders piled on the points by hitting their free throws down the stretch.
Kakes contributed a game high 15 points for the Raiders, as they improve to 10-8 overall, and 5-6 in the EWC. New Holstein Slips to 3-15 on the year, 2-9 in conference.
In Boys Basketball last night, Manitowoc Lutheran won its’ 8th consecutive game last night downing Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah 72-34.
The visiting Lancers, now 13-3, received 20-points from Trey Zastrow and 14 from Santana Lomibao.
The Big East North Division leaders have a tough stretch of games coming up, all on the road starting tomorrow night against Kohler.
That’ll be followed by Sheboygan Lutheran next Tuesday and Hilbert one week from tonight.
