The Madison East High School teacher accused of using hidden cameras in an attempt to produce child pornography is pleading not guilty to federal charges.
37-year-old David Kruchten of Cottage Grove was arrested Thursday and entered not guilty pleas at his initial court appearance.
The charges against Krutchen apparently do not stem from a December school trip to Minneapolis, during which students found cameras in their hotel rooms.
A grand jury indicted Kruchten with seven counts for incidents on October 27th and January 20th.
He’s due back in court February 5th.
