Former Green Bay Packers general manager Ron Wolf says the Cleveland Browns and other N-F-L teams which embrace analytics are “out of control.”
Wolf’s comment to Chris Mortensen of E-S-P-N follow the news that his son, Eliot Wolf, and the Browns are parting ways.
Wolf says using analytics is why Cleveland had a record of 1-31 over a two-year period.
NFL.com is reporting assistant general manager Eliot Wolf’s departure from the Browns front office was a mutual decision.
Several other former Packer officials are leaving at the same time.
