The Milwaukee Brewers are going to take a flyer on a pitcher who once looked like a potential All-Star.
Often-injured right-hander Shelby Miller has signed a minor-league contract which includes an invitation to join the Brewers at major league spring training.
Miller’s stats in recent seasons are pretty ugly, but he won 15 games for St. Louis in 2013 and he had an E-R-A of 3.02 for Atlanta in 2015.
Miller had Tommy John surgery three years ago.
