On Wednesday, January 29th, Lakefront Brewery is showing their appreciation to all employees of the Milwaukee County Transit System by offering them a free beer. It’s easy to look at MCTS drivers as local, everyday heroes. Not only are they helping Milwaukee natives get to where they need to be on a daily basis, but they’re helping the homeless, rescuing children, and rushing into burning buildings too.
“A free beer is the least we could do for these employees that are such an integral and important part of Milwaukee County” says Lakefront Brewery President and Founder Russ Klisch, “we got wind that we could see a good crowd of MCTS employees on Wednesday, and not just bus drivers, we hope everyone involved in that system can make it over.”
In order to receive that free beer, MCTS employees just need to provide proof of their current employment with the Milwaukee County Transit System. The rest is between them and their bartender. Choose wisely!
The free beer will be available during business hours from 11am to 8pm.
