A local legislator is concerned that members of his party are getting caught up in the so-called “impeachment frenzy.” Sixth District Congressman Glen Grothman says his Republican constituents need to refocus efforts on pressing matters facing America today.
“I think maybe some investigation into, not just Vice President Biden’s son but apparently his brother has been making money up here for years off the Biden name, would be worthwhile. Otherwise, I think the Republicans are falling into a trap, including normally conservative talk radio, of talking about impeachment all the time and then not focusing on the things that are going to destroy this country.”
Grothman elaborates.
“We are not talking about immigration like we were two months ago and we should be talking about it. We’re one court decision away from going back t0 May of last year when over 100,000 people were trying to get in the country and if we don’t address that it will be the end of our nation.”
Grothman says he plans on touring the border in Arizona sometime next month. The Glenbeulah Republican is also concerned about the rising cost of insulin, blaming the drug companies for pricing it out of range for those who need it.
