Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers gives his second State of the State address tonight to a joint session of the Republican-controlled legislature (Wednesday 7 p-m). The Democratic governor has had a contentious relationship with G-O-P leaders. But Evers says there has been a lot of success and he’s proud of everything accomplished in his first year. He says he was also proud to sign executive orders affirming equity, inclusion, respect, and dignity for state workers in Wisconsin. Evers notes that 95 percent of the bills he’s signed had bi-partisan support. He wants to see action this year on making higher education more affordable, nonpartisan redistricting, youth vaping, capping the cost of insulin and getting P-F-As out of the water.
